Late Night Slice

So its the end of the night and you just got done dancing, drinking, or singing in the Short North and you're hungry.. We've all been there! And even though its 2am and the bars are all closed the night is still young! Not to mention that undeniable pain in your belly that is begging to be fed something warm, salty and delicious.

Well lucky for you, you wont have to look that far. Late Night Slice is snug in an alley, right off High Street between 2nd and 3rd, in their small humble shack surrounded by picnic chairs, tables, and nick-nack's. While the space is cramped, and the wait is long they make up for it with a kick ass pizza, awesome employee's (who aren't above pointing out the drunkest person in the line), and their own signature sauces.

If you haven't heard of this place yet don't worry, they're fairly new to the area and being in such a small location doesn't make it the easiest to see at first.. Until they project a Cartoon, or Jackie Chan movie that is! On my most recent venture to LNS I had the pleasure of watching Ren and Stimpy as I waited for my 'Spicy Ass Pizza' and sipped on some Faygo. They also have a van that roams up and down High St. and brings the hot cheesy goodness to you're door (well bar door that is) which is totally awesome because it's cheaper and tastier than all those Gyro vendor's down by Union!

The Pizza it's self is everything your heart desires after you've had your last drink.. Cheesy, spicy, garlicy.. They do theirs by the slice but for the size of the shack they actually give you lots of options. Each slice is cut Chicago style but if you don't think 1 or 2 slices will satisfy you I suggest trying their 'pizza dawg' or buying a whole pizza to share. Don't forget your toppings though! Put as much ranch/garlic/or parm as you want because its free to experiment there!

Over all I'd give this pizza joint a 7 / 10
- The wait can be long (and when everyone is drunk it can get pretty rowdy)
- The space can get a little crowded in the summer (but hey thats what gives it its 'best kept secret' vibe)
+ However the Pizza is great
+ The personalized touches makes it exciting
+ And if you go you've GOT to try the 'Slut Sauce' (They have to chain it to the stand now because people keep stealing it!)

Hello My Name is...

So if you're stumbling upon this site Hello! I'm just getting started so I hope you'll come back and visit soon, but to entice you to do that I'll let you know what you'll be sure to find in future posts!

I'm really excited to have an opportunity to share with a wide range of people all the exciting things there are to do in Columbus. I've lived here for several years and after much coaxing from my friends I've decided to share with the world that I've only been sharing with my friends.

I'm planning on bringing you fun and extensive reviews on restaurants, bars, clubs, pubs, and stores around Columbus. One of the really exciting things about living in this city is all the creative and original people who live here and set up shop, so as this site grows you'll also start to see features and interviews with family owned businesses and hopefully street interviews from people in the area.

I'd also like to share my creative side with everyone, so you can expect to find links to sites and businesses that I like, and possibly patterns that you can use, of course I'll share my own personal experiences with the crafts and post pictures of my completed works.

And as for the 'Fashion' side, you can be sure to find photos, articles, and my general opinion on a variety of trends that I notice while I'm at work or around the town.

As I'm getting this started I hope to have feedback from anyone who visits, I'd also love to get a suggestion box going for people who are curious about different places, but dont want to try it 1st themselves, I'm always willing to go out and test places out!
